Does anyone know where to get nice quality glass trophies from - you know the type we get at photography comp awards. I have looked around but struggling to find any decent UK suppliers with engraving included. So over to you guys... Can anyone help?

    £1,000 per day 1-to-1 tuition

Turning up is not what you are getting for your money. You are getting a wealth of knowledge, experience and quality training - if you cant see that, then the course is not for you :/

Photo sharing - Instagram vs Flickr

As stated by Jayst84 they are different and have a different audience. Flickr used to be the go to pace for photographers, forums and 'awards' now it is more a storage facility for most. Instagram is a good place to get your work seen as it is currently the hot place to post. Probably not where...

One of my images used online..

if they bought it from Shutterstock then of course they are able to use it. If however they did send them an invoice ;) Doe shutterstock show who purchased from them when you get paid for use of an image?

Advice needed please: Larger softbox vs smaller softbox closer to the subject?

The general rule is - the larger the light source in relation to the subject the softer the light.

Advice needed please: Larger softbox vs smaller softbox closer to the subject?

You have to consider the drop off - smaller light sources wont cover the same spread on the body - might be great for head shots, but not full length. Also it might be fine with one subject, but not work with two or more.

I think some people are missing the point, sponsors help these people to produce what they offer you for free.
