Mainly football, but I did try it out at the Belgian Grand Prix earlier this year, and the results were, well pants!

I have a Nikon D3100 and am slowly but getting into sports photography, action shots and the like. I currently have a Nikon 55-200mm f/4.-5.6 AFS DX VR. Trouble is, it's just not up to the job. I'd like to zoom in that little bit more. Something up to 400mm maybe? What lens should I be...

Hi After a bit of advice, am thinking about buying the above lens. I've got a D3100, would this lens work well with it? I'm just starting out so after as much advise as possible. Any other suggestions for lenses? Cheers Ross
