Ah i see, i never thought of it actually having to supply power to the flash. Silly me. The battery was full, but i was taking a lot of pics in quick succession. Would a standalone flash quash this issue as it would be self powered?

Hello, After having aplay with the standard kit lens on my 400D, i decide i needed something with a little more reach. SO i bough the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG Macro lens. Did i do the roght thing? My main subjects are portraits, birds and the odd static car at the racing.

I'm no photographer as yet, but i know that no-one would do my wedding without first agreeing to a price. Examples of your work might help the ones 'in the know' decide.

EDIT: Sussed it. Note to self, slice tool isn't the bloody crop tool!!!
