I have this lens and paid £75 for it. I find as long as it's used below 240mm it's not to bad, above this and it's looks very soft I found it pretty heavy to hand hold but on a tripod you can get pleasing results.

Another recent car boot find was a Lomo LC-A and flash. It was in a old camera bag at the bottom of a plastic box. Had a look in it and this popped up. Paid the grand sum of £3.50, it all works and I put a roll of colour film through it, developed at Tesco's and it had the classic Lomo look...

Car boot sales can be great for finding bargains, a few months back I bought a Yashica T4 for 20p and sold it on E-Bay for £45 :D

It's a Ricoh GRD and the focus seems to be out. It's giving blurred images and the barrel sometimes sticks and doesn't retract.

Anyone know a good digital camera repair shop in Nottingham. The only one I've found is London Camera Exchange but just wondered if anyone knows any better. Bit short of cash at the moment so don't really want to pay mega money.

I think I understand. You manual focus it until the red light appears in your viewfinder then you should be in focus.
