I got one from ebay for about a tenner and it's great. It kind of sprung out of the bag and after wrestling with it for 5mins it still won’t go back in ! :bang:

Hi I'm after my first flash unit to replace the in-built one on my Nikon D80. Any recommondations ? Do I have to use a Nikon branded one ? I've seen on the bay models such as Speedlight SB400, 600, 800 etc. Is this the type of thing I should be looking at. Ps. Dont want to spend a fortune

Just been messing around with my little Canon Ixus 40 while these tubes arrive and produced these. Not too bad for a first attempt ?

Cheers Doug thats useful I bought a set of the cheap tubes off the bay this afternoon so I will experiment with those when they arrive. Been messing around with a little Canon Ixus 40 today on the macro setting and that gives surprisingly good results too !
