Photographer harshly criticized for ‘shoddy’ Olympic portraits

Just a quick post to thanks all those negative, I'm so perfect posters here..... And mods no need to ban me - this thread has just finished TP for me. Utterly pathetic replies - get a bloody grip! It's this sort of pretentious holier than thou crap. Can you not see what this guy has...

    The Football Thread - Season 2011/2012 - Part 2

Sorry to resurrect this old chestnut - but interesting to read Pearce's comments on the BBC website about his almost...........total reluctance to have Beckham involved at any level. For a guy whose claim to fame is appearing in a "Pizza Hut' advert about missing a penalty - does this not...

    Lessons will be learned

I have to say this really annoys me - it's almost akin to 'friendly fire'..........and unfortunately it isn't the first time. Just who is 'learning' the lessons Cameron :bang:

    The Who

Now that I can't believe  I thought Quadrophenia was great - in fact one of my all time faves, however, Tommy is one of my least favourite. Strange

    The Football Thread - Season 2011/2012 - Part 2

If that's true then pretty much the current England squad - who, lets face it, didn't exactly cover themselves in glory this month, would also struggle IMO. While I accept your sentiment - football, again IMO, dosen't exactly stress the top earners - 90 to 180 minutes work a week, oh sorry...

    The Football Thread - Season 2011/2012 - Part 2

That really is poor - I know that, (I would say possibly on his ability to play to the level required, but then I take it there are no other England players in the squad :naughty:), he may not still 'have it'................ but, come on! There's arguably only one person who does more as an...

    A bit of weed....s

Certainly is now - back in the 80's......meh. I personally didn't agree with it, but then I'd still use creosote on my fence now if I could get it - and not the watered down eco version - so what do I know? My neighbour when living in France - only a couple of years ago, used to have a...

    A bit of weed....s

Funny that - my bro-in-law used old engine oil under his patio. Certainly didn't get any weeds.........somewhat drastic though :cuckoo: Personally found Weedol to work quite well - but the b****rs come back unless you use a good heavy plastic membrane underneath patios/gravel etc

    Channel 4 undercover undertaker

Same as any other business I guess. A little disturbing in probably one of the few industries immune to the current economic situation - or not :shake:

BBC News Story : Over half of women's waists 'too big'

Mmmm - sweeping generalisations by some who obviously take offence, or even who are offended by overweight people. Wish we were all so perfect. Or perhaps we should accept fat people walking about with no clothes on - way to go! Ultimately we all have choice agreed, education or the lack...
