    shutter counters

Is EOSinfo that inacurate then? Have no reason to doubt it, going by the body it had barely been out of the box when I bought it, think I was very lucky :D No it doesn't really matter to me at least, just nice to know as mine was sold with such a low shutter count, quite rare to find one...

Sorry for jumping in :) Thanks for the tip, didn't know about this before, so might well hang on for this myself, especially as its a 2.8 EX with OS  link: http://www.dpreview.com/news/1002/10022014sigma17mm50mm.asp

Benners... this might help give you an idea of size for the 7500 (Not great pics as taken on webcam) I get my 40D body+17-85mm, Flash, 50mm, 70-300mm, blower, lens cloths etc. I reckon you could get a gripped body + 2 lenses depending on size of course.

Tell me your best 'put downs'

If somebody was annoying me that much I'd just say "F*** O**" I don't have the ability or energy for small talk, so they would just be wasting their time approaching me :D

    Canon 17-40 L F4 or Tamron 17-50 F2.8 VC

Having the same dilema as you here too Alex (Chuffed with the flash by the way) was talking to Slimbert yesterday & he rates the Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 highly also, so I reckon I will be going for that although not entirely decided yet :) Dean is this the Sigma 18-50 you are refering too...

Canon 400D Err99 and won't focus on (automatic) zoom

Dont know if this helps but a quick google came back with this info: Think most of this has already been covered BJIC (from Canon USA) To isolate the cause of the issue, we suggest that you do the following: 1. Turn off the camera. 2. Remove the lens, battery, and CF card. 3. Allow...

    £500 canon kit replacement

Sorry to hijack thread..... Thanks for the tip Damien, I had high hopes for the Sigma as a few reviews (Not many out there yet) said it was superior to the Canon 17-85mm that I already have? Maybe I need to take a better look at the Tamron :) I like the Canon 17-55mm, but it's around £800...

    £500 canon kit replacement

I'm going to get the new Sigma 17-70mm OS as soon as funds allow to replace my Canon 17-85, hoping it's better :) Wouldn't this be more suitable for you also? http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-sigma-17-70mm-f2-8-4-dc-macro-os-hsm-lens-canon-fit/p1518705 Like Slimbert says, people speak...
