What will be your next photography related purchase? Or what photography gear do you lust after?

A battery grip and a couple of extra batteries for my Fuji XT4 if I can find some decent 3rd party ones. Reluctant to pay £60 for a single battery.

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I saw a review which had the same complaint, not a deal breaker for me as it'll be on a sling 99% of the time.

That's exactly the sort of recommendation I was looking for. Will get it ordered later. Thanks

Any recommendations for aftermarket lens feet for the 100-400? Seen a few online ranging from cheap to pretty expensive. One I'm looking at in particular is by ishoot.

    Beginner Features for a child's 1st camera

I've recently picked up a Fuji XP140 for my 9 year old daughter's first camera. She absolutely loves it. It's very robust (shock and waterproof) and takes a suprisingly decent photo. I throw it on auto mode for her currently and she happily snaps away.

Prime lens travel - what's your setup?

If I'm not lugging my bag around I'll chuck my 50mm f1.4 on the D750 and have my 24mm f2.8 in my jacket pocket. Covers me for pretty much most things I'd want to shoot whilst out and about. Considering a 35mm f2, to balance the weight of my jacket out lol

New PC Build or Update Current for Lightroom

Might have only saved a couple of quid, but every penny saved is a bonus

I hope they didn't charge extra for the Arctic MX-4 Thermal compound, especially when you're paying for a Noctua cooler. Noctua thermal paste (which is included with their coolers) is well known for being pretty much the best paste you can use.

    Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2

So it arrived today. Glad I listened to everyone's advice, initial impressions are great. Sharper than I hoped, even sharper than my trusty Nikon 24-70 f2.8 Autofocus accuracy seems good so far from my limited testing, looking like I've got a good copy that needs no adjustments (touch wood)...

    Professional Headphones

Samson SR850s are a great budget choice. Not fully open backed so noise leakage is minimal. Have a sound quality that far exceeds their price. Replaced mine now with Fidelio X2RS but wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.

Instax camera for an 8 year old

I toyed with the idea of one of these for my 9 year old daughter as she'd been asking for a camera for her birthday. Eventually opted for a Fuji XP140 for her and I give her a small print budget every month to get whatever shots printed out that she likes. Will work out cheaper in the long run...

    Snapseed ?

You could get it to run on a pc with an android emulator such as bluestacks, but it's not worth the hassle when there's plenty of perfectly adequate software for pc.

    Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2

Thanks for the feedback folks, much appreciated. It's going on a D750, will 99% of the time be used to shoot static or slow moving subjects. (Portrait, landscape and street photography are my thing). Super lightning fast AF isn't a deal breaker for me. Taken the plunge and ordered one from...

    Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2

About to press the buy button on one of these. Had saved up for the Nikon variant, but struggling to justify the extra almost £1000 over the Tamron. Anyone used or use one who can give some honest opinions on it?
