    Sounds bad but I think you really need to work on your own style, building your own confidence, this then rubs off on the models and creates an air of ease.     I think having a spare is essential its like having a spare tyre. If you dont have one and out on a job your screwed. Sounds crazy but when out on location or abroad I try and have a third camera available. Even if its just a stand in camera, gives me the backup if something happens

    I think you have have just lost some of the actually grain in the skin, so maybe making the skin look slightly too smooth. I think this really is the hardest part with re-touching skin, keeping some of the granularity of "skin". I know when I first started everything I did looked like a wax...

    My advice would be to work in layers and only apply minimal skin smoothing. Utilize the clone and heal tools. While using masks to work on high grain areas.Many of the shots above in my opinion are over cooked and you loose the grit in the skin.

    We have used the moulded synthetic product dummies they use when tailoring the clothes, but these are seriously pricey, £500+ each. Simple Solutions, sounds mental but use bubble wrap, have shot a number of clothing lines and recently shot a range for website ASOS using just bubble wrap....try...

    Are there any good print labs out there??

    Have to say we use Loxley and have done for a couple of years now and the print quality is second to none...certainly worth setting up an account with them and the ROSES software is a winner
