Hi Have searched on here and read lots re Manfrotto tripods, have also looked at Redsnapper too. But i have found nothing re this model. Saw it in Currys and it was down from £79 to £49. Just wondering if anyone has used this particular model/kit. Are all Manfrotto tripods quality ?

Hi Ordered a 500D and twin lens kit from Jessops on Wednesday. Arrived today, a day late but that's another story. My first DSLR , battery is on charge and manual will be getting studied soon. Looking forward to picking up loads of advice and tips from anyone . I'm based just outside Lincoln...

Mike I have been looking at the same kits too, and would appreciate any advice. They are also doing the 1100d with a 50mm f/1.8 lens instead of the tamron 70-300mm. Just wondered which would be better ? Not trying to hijack your thread ! Col
