Last year i had a good crack at a 52 managing 44 weeks before having surgery and becoming pretty immobile for a few weeks. Rather than commit to a weekly image i thought id have a go at something different.
This year i'm having a crack at my "project rainbow". I'm going to produce an image of...
Cracking shot Paul, its an interesting distortion and well framed. The quality part for me is the lighting, you have captured some lovely colours here and it gives a warm feel to it.
I love the sepia toned machines, really well processed for an ageing feel.
Faith, although it doesn't do much for me its a good still life with a nice shallow dof.
I like this Sue, it shows a good alternative of the word faith. As i was scrolling down i settled on the shot without the man's face just above his waist, i think this looks good too as it puts more focus on the dog looking up and therefore highlights the faith bit more, maybe a crop in this...
The first one for me Phi, i live the lines you have got with the composition, at first i thought pity about the fella walking but after a few moments of looking i actually think it makes the shot and as you say it gives it a bit of perspective.
Great picture Sarah and no need to get out the crow bar as it fits the theme perfectly. The write up is facinating, as i said in the other post i had some of these myself but never knew of the shoals functioning within the environment. This explains a few things now. Is the Alpha male(???) in...
Thanks for all the well wishes, its gone pretty well but it all starts here with the recovery. This weeks theme is "share" and earlier today my right hamstring shared a piece of muscle to graft into my left knee (ligament replacement) I may take a picture of it and post it once the dressings are...
Nice shot Andy, kind of abstract too with the fella's in the air. I think cropping out the floor or getting a different angle with less floor would give it more impact. Nice exposure too.
Seems like an age since i commented on one of your shots Sarah:lol: you have done well to catch up.
I think urban is a fantastic idea the circuit you chose is perfect and it looks amazingly like a city. Although it was an accident the backdrop fits in well.
Secret, good idea, great...
Hey Phil, really like Urban, it has a simplicity about it which works. The composition is good but the model face looks a bit flat, not sure how this is resolved as the hand doesnt look to bad.
Train, great picture which has used the good light well. I love the colours on the near train and...
