    Sunflowers

My favourite pictures of poppies i took were these, not a see of red as i was hoping for but i am happy with them:) http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=70172 Yeah, i appreciate that farmers do rotate crops, but the field near me was sunflowers every year, so me thinks...

    Sunflowers

Hi Everyone, After pestering you all earlier this year for Poppy field locations, I'm now after a field of Sunflowers in Gloucestershire/Worcestershire area, or further afield within reason. I used to have one very close but it's no longer being used for that purpose :( All help...

    How??!!

Have a look at this website, click on the link for Milán Radisics. The first picture that is in his gallery is a Mayfly, how in the hell has he managed to get this shot? I'm currently justifying it as luck:), but know there is a technique as photographers this good don't get involved with luck...

Can you see what it is yet?

Well maybe's i'm still drunk :) What I'm seeing is the guy facing to the left, sizeable nose pointing that way, eye shut, with a bit of a smirk. You don't see ears though. I've asked people at work and they see it straight away, must be something they've released in the air con!

Can you see what it is yet?

Mucking about in the woods nursing a sizeable hangover on Sunday morning messing around with depths of field on tree barks, converted the raw files last night only to find this mans profile in the tree! It could be that that my camera had inhaled some of the alcohol fumes from my breath and...

    200kb

Is there an easy way to reduce the size of your pics to 200kb (the talkphotography limit). All my pics are on Picasa and i like them there there, but they don't allow links to the forum via the URL :( To post pics on these forums then I will have to upload them to my gallery, but before doing...

    Poppy fields

Well, friday afternoon, I braved the wet, windy, grey weather and checked out the poppy field at Shipton with Camera in tow this time, I was not completely happy with the results when i got home, obviously because of the conditions. Having had another look at them today i'm thinking that maybe i...

    Poppy fields

I'm sure you've all had enough of my obsession with this subject but an Uncle has let me know that he saw a field of Poppies from the train where the Severn Valley Railway meets the A456 near Bewdley. I plan to take a trip up there one day next week, but if anyone lives near by and can verify...

    Poppy fields

Right after an evening at the cinema there was still some daylight left so i popped upto the one at Shipton minus the camera. There is indeed a very decent field of poppies which i will be going back to fully armed! You can't miss it, it's on the right hand side of the A40 heading out of...
