Sometimes a simple location can produce very good results if you can compose the pictures without the distractions surrounding. Just drive around, find some features you like, do some tests and return later when it's less crowded or has better light or whatever you need.

We get too caught up in the spec sheets, the reviews and the results we aspire. Sometimes we just need to step back abd think coldly for a min or two. But i see this happening everywhere on the internet forums (specially when there are americans around! ;D)! You see people lusting for the trends...

I have the 550d, bought it about two years ago. Can't really pinpoint any major faults, just a few niggles. That being said i've never tried the other two, i just use what i got.

Is everything shipped from hong kong? Dont you have to pay import taxes? I thought that only happened with cheap orders.

If its your first dslr i'd personally buy a good condition entry level body! They are easy tocome by. Use the rest of your budget on a prime or two. You save some money now and upgrade the body at a later date when you actually know what you need. Just my 2 cents.

I have the 8mm in canon mount and i really like it. Pretty good quality and build and very good IQ. That being said it does flare alot more than any other lenses i have, but it is predictable and controlable!

I'll also vouch for the canon 70-200 F4 IS. I've had pretty good results with it. The Canon 50 f1.8 sucks though! It's sooooo slow! Only good after a really heavy workout when your dog is sleeping. :baby:

It's all fake anyways... The 'plot' is always the same, same emotional ramblings, same outcomes. That's what ****es me off. I actually enjoyed the first couple of episodes, but then it became too obvious.

The lack of external controls and no vf really kills it for me. I was looking for a camera with a wide angle to use for close-up portrais and general street photo. That way when i travel i could have my dslr with the 17-55 and the 70-200 and always have a backup handy with a good prime so i...
