    In search of Asha

I've been off this forum for a long time until recently. Sad to hear he's done a runner too. Like Excaliber says, he did/does have a Mother in the Isle of Man. We were hoping to meet up back in 2016, but i wasn't free on the day he was here. I do hope he's okay and just taking a hiatus. He did...

Show us yer film shots then!

I've not taken anything on film in years, so this is a throwback to 2017. I wasn't too keen on this shot originally, as the woman turned around just as i was taking the shot (she heard me wind the film on), but after several years, i now like it. Playa De Las Americas, Tenerife 2017. Canon AE-1...

    Bronica Medium Format Owners Thread

Hello, it's been a while. I don't think i've posted a comment here in 3 or 4 years. I fell out of the photography loop in 2020 after mental health issues. I'm desperately trying to get my mojo back. I sold all my digital gear but kept several film cameras. But now I've just bought my 2nd...

New Old Film Challenge #112 - Entries Thread - Through The Window POLL ADDED

It's been a long time since i posted here. It's been a long time since i shot film with any real conviction too. But I spent a week in and around the Carnforth area a few weeks ago, so took my F100 and a Olympus MJU III with me. This was shot with the F100 - Ilford XP2. Never used XP2 before,but...

    It's Happened Again!

It's a process of elimination. I scratched my head for long enough over this, and the tank was the last thing i thought of. Just try more fluid and gentler agitation.

    It's Happened Again!

I was using an older version Paterson System 4. Just bought a newer one and it's done the trick. The grain was totally my fault though, i got the dilution wrong.

    It's Happened Again!

Rather than start a new thread, i thought i would bump this one up and hopefully everyone that commented will see this latest post. Firstly, thank you for all your comments and advice, it was much appreciated. secondly,i have resolved the issue. It was the tanks fault! Remember this? The Bay...

    Cameras miracles do happen

I've been told it will cost £65+ vat to fix my unwell FG, so can i rent a space on your magic shelf instead please? :D

    It's Happened Again!

Patronizing much? I followed the 'Dev it' app on my phone which states 12 minutes (which i followed, my mistake when i said 11). And the temp is the best i can do in my house, but i keep it consistent throughout running water, developer and fixer.

    It's Happened Again!

Confused? Join the club. Proper head scratcher. Ironically the other 2 rolls were in date HP5. The others were Rollei Retro 100 that i bought off here from Strappy. They were OOD but stored in t'fridge and have been since they arrived at mine too. This roll, was fine, I'm inclined to believe...

    It's Happened Again!

I developed a roll of Rollei Retro 100 sometime in between the other failed developments, but only just been able to locate the files on my computer. I knew they had come out ok but only now i've had the chance to properly look at them at full size. No sign of any trails at all on any of them! I...
