Any preference between the manfrotto and giottos they both seem very similar in what they can do although I think I prefer the look of the giottos one
Not too sure I was looking at the Manfrotto 498RC2 or the Giottos MH1302-652 again i'm not too clued up which is best etc... also I could get a Gitzo G1377M used for same price

I have been offered the Manfrotto 190XPROL for a good price and it looks just what I'm after but could someone tell me if the 5kg max loading weight would be a problem thanks

The velbon looks good Mark but I think the adjustable column would prob suit my needs
