Yeah your right it doesn't so that's that out the window lol Any preference between the manfrotto and giottos they both seem very similar in what they can do although I think I prefer the look of the giottos one

Not too sure I was looking at the Manfrotto 498RC2 or the Giottos MH1302-652 again i'm not too clued up which is best etc... also I could get a Gitzo G1377M used for same price

Thanks for the heads up Stuart about amazon think I may take a punt on it as it does everything I need at the right price The velbon looks good Mark but I think the adjustable column would prob suit my needs

yeah I saw that but I would still need to buy a decent head as its the legs only which would again take the price up
