People photography and children in the pictures

Interesting thread, Interesting thread, this response made me think of the time I took my nieces to a local splash park. Parents all had phones out recording videos which I'm sure would have other kids in the background. I took my camera and did take some images which I think are really fun...

    I guess that's terminal then

I had a similar issue, it was a BIOS update that solved it - and yes the PC had been runing fine for a long while but just inside extended warranty - did that and it solved the issue. Another work machine recently provided a RAM failure code, once swapped out worked fine. There's a lot you can...

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

My new sigma 35 F1. 4 DG DN arrived today, I had felt for a while my kit was quite on the long side and didn't have much in the way of a walk around/video lens, I had been worried by some of the review videos but so far so good :) just wish the weather would be a little better.

    Gimbal Advice Sought

Hey OP I'm in a similar position myself totally new to video but enjoying learning. I'd considered a gimbal for a while and lens combos I have just always seemed like they'd be too much for the SC (which I read can take 2kg payload) and the Ronin S looked too large/heavy - So the goldilocks...

    Cold sat morning

Thank you, really appreciate the response - the comment regarding contacting the league was to just highlight who I am to them, my intentions and basically have a point of contact for image submission should they request it in future. Alternatively to get some form of affilation with them, I...

    Cold sat morning

Hope you don't mind me asking - I've been doing some voluntary stuff for grassroots over 18s football (when able) the last few months of 2020. Is your income entirely from print/photo sales? Direct payments from clubs or anything? I'm considering the pause might be a good time to assess things...

The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

Ooft - I'm finally in a position to place an order for an a7iii - Been saving my pennies for a while, the best deal I can find is cameraworld offering it at 1699 (then 300 back) anyone else doing the same by chance? I really want to make sure I'm getting the best deal possible. I've had the a7...

    Light Painting Cars

I had some fun with a cheap B&M strip light (I think it's intention is to go behind your TV?) Anyway I stuck it to a broom handle with a celataped powerbank to the bottom. I know mine isn't all that great but something to consider? Only £8... RGB colours too...

Camera backpack for hiking all day?

I had a trip out recently with the camera, food water extra layers etc - I found the best thing to do was use an insert inside a 65L berghaus camping bag - obviously theres lots of different types of these rucksacks but I couldn't choose between sacrificing the admin kit or the camera kit. So...

    Dell monitors

Could I get suggestions on any monitors with good colour accuracy AND quick refresh rate 140hz'ish? 27" -34"? It seems the market is full of one or the other.
