    1Dx mkii or 5D mkiv?

I also use the 500 f4 and 100-400 with both 1dx mk2 and the 7d2, for me the extra reach of the 7d2 with the crop factor works only when the light is reasonably good. Here in the UK the 1dx mk2 has to be the go,to for wildlife if you have the means. Liw light performance, fantastic AF system ...

    Shooting snow

When shooting in snow you will have to compensate for the white of snow when setting your exposure up as snow will fool the metering n the camera

There is a great little AP for smart phones on exposure, it allows you to see the impact on the ISO shutter speed or aperture by adjusting any one setting

    Looking for a good rucksack.

If i could add another endorsement for the lowepro fastpack 350, a great combination of protection for your camera gear and space for your other needs in seperate compartments while maintaining easy access to both.

    300 f2.8 Canon

300 f 2.8 was my first big prime, and a great lens. It is hand holdable, works really well with both 1.4 and 2 times T/Cs and is widely regarded as one of canons sharpest lenses. As has already been said condition is more important than age.

    Sigma 300 F2.8

The T/C connected to the lens detects the f stop of the lens a passes the I formation through to the body, when you stack them the T/C between the body and the T@C connected to the lens I'd effective transparent electronically, but optical losses are still present so you have to manually...

Tripods - A quick question about a tripod part please.

I have a CF tripod from RS and its very well built, stable and light enough to carry all day. You might find that the number of users here with RS tripods is pretty high and that fact alone accounts for a number of threads on them. Customer service has always been praised when dealing with RS...
