I am taking photos of a car in A few weeks, and looking for an interesting place to take the pics. I live in Winsford Cheshire, and looking for somewhere local, such a a graffiti wall, scrap yard etc. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Thanks in advance..

I currently have a Canon 100-400L and a Canon 70-200L f/2.8 mk2 I am finding the clarity on the 100-400 is much poorer than the 70-200, i know its a cheaper lens, but surely there should not be that much difference. Has anyone else had noticed this ? or does my 100-400 need some attention ?

I upgraded from the f/4.0 to the f/2.8 mk2... Personally I found a massive difference in quality, well worth the extra money, wish I bought the f/2.8 to start with..

What settings are you using ? Are you sure the exposure has not been turned down ? Are you able to upload a picture of the screen on top of the camera ?

This is quiet a difficult one, you will need a wide aperture such as f/2.8, or as wide as your lens will allow. Then use a slow shutter speed, around 40-80, but not to slow, you don't want the pics to be blurred, a tripod or IS lens would help. Lastly, not essential, would depend on how dark the...

I started with sigma, but then upgraded to the canon, it may be more expensive but worth the extra money !

Hi I had the same problem when deciding, so I looked at the image quality on both, the L lens is head and shoulders above the standard, well worth the extra money. I think you may regret going for the cheaper one, and end up upgrading to the L series anyway.
