Ok I think I was doing it wrong, I checked it with the meter on DCV and it measured no higher than 9. I'm guessing it is safe to use unless I haven't metered it correctly, could someone verify this?
I just let my metz power up and measured the voltage from the PC socket and it was reading 11/12, that was with the meter in the link and the dial set to ACV 500. Is this right, I'm no electrician so I don't know what I should set it too as it doesn't come with a manual?

I've been shooting more and more with my X-700 but I want to do some double exposures but I can find out how to do them? I have tried playing around with the camera but I still can't work it out! Can anyone shed some light on how you do it with this body?

I recently and foolishly broke my tilting umbrella head which is no biggy it wasn't vastly expensive. But it is proving a absolute nightmare to find one that I can use! I use Metz 45's and need a tilting umbrella bracket but it has to have a 1/4 thread on the top. I have looked...
I have a sigma 24-60mm F2.8 and it is what I use for all my portrait work. I sometimes put the 135mm on but on the whole the sigma is my key lens. It has little distorition at either end and it is very sharp throughout especially when stopped down.
