I have the same reader and problem, if I unplug and re plug the reader the computer detects it, I have the FireWire reader before this and had connection issues, Lexmark gave me a USB 2.0 dual reader which works flawlessly. Just wish the 3.0 was as good

what do you use for mounting the straps onto it? I was thinking of just leaving my Manfrotto tripod plates on and latching onto those instead of the supplied pieces. Will be the exact same set up as ACW, do you have it mounted on the lens or canera body/grip?
