Hi guys, yeah it's fully recharged when I release the shutter and yeah it flashes when I press the test button. I'm not using a hotshoe flash. I only got it yesterday so I'll just ask the supplier to send me a new sync' lead and, hopefully that will cure it. Thanks for the input.

Yeah, I know about the recycle time. I dearly hope it's not the sync lead, is there owt else it could be? Should it fire with every release of the shutter (recyc' allowing)?
