I have had the misfortune to have lost the screw from the tilt control knob, luckily I found the round knob in my bag, am missing the screw and the fixing head from it. Anyone else had this problem ? Looking ideas as to where to try and get these small Canon spare parts from is it possible...

Dont think you can see the image thumbnail of a CR3 or at least I can't on my Mac, its only by using image software ie Lightroom etc

I am using Intego Backup Manager Pro, paid for software from Lacie, it will work with other makes of hard drives. It will either give me Backup or Synchronization

Does anyone know of an alternative replacement for this cable release, as I have gone through several of these now, the damage is were the cable goes into the plug that joins to the camera body, the cable joint fails. I shoot nearly always on tripod, hence I don't always remove it from the body...

I have also seen that they say to shoot in RAW and JPEG and upload the JPEG's to the iPad to edit and keyword etc, it saves the time in uploading the much larger RAW files, and then if using Lightroom it could synch the info back to the RAW file, if the two are kept together and not treated...

I don't think iphoto will able to view Raw files on an ipad, maybe only on a desk top machine.

I believe there is a mobile version of Lightroom, I havent checked this out yet so not sure if only available through the cloud, or there was something called Photosmith ? The main thing to be aware of is the OS required

There is isn't the money in Stock as there was, there are better ways to "beer money" with less hassle, ie no keywording etc etc The chances are, the author is making more from the book, rather than shooting Stock, - selling a dream ?
