Generally keep things locked in my suitcase/bag, and tuck it out of sight where I can. When I stayed in Budapest last year, the hotel room had a safe, but it wasn't actually secured to the shelf it was sat on :rolleyes:

I've got a Tenba Axis 20L, swallows up loads of gear and also just about fits within the easyjet "small carry on" criteria. I've done a few weekends away with it, as well as day hikes. It won't take a 15/16" laptop though, not sure if that's a consideration you need.

Went to Porto in Feb, going to Krakow next month & Madeira in November. As usual the camera will be the first thing in my bag! Cannot wait for Madeira, i'm going with some other creatives with the sole purpose of exploring armed with our camera gear :D A few Porto snaps below - my 35mm didn't...

Depends on your definition of budget - I have the 24-150 f4 as my daily lens which is great. 35 and 85 prime combo would be brilliant as Lee suggested - the Sony f1.8 versions are pretty reasonable for the performance!

I have the PD slide lite and fix that to the left anchor point & the tripod point, camera hangs nicely over the shoulder and also leaves the right side of the camera totally free of straps etc for easier use.

Tenba Axis does the job for me, I got the 20L which is just about enough space. Bigger sizes probably better for you with drone as well though.

Another vote for the PD Capture Clip, really well made bit of kit.

I'm also new to LR on the iPad so I'd be interested to see what tips come up. One quick one I can't see on iPad is the ability to draw a line for straightening a horizon, I find that really helpful on desktop. Nigel Danson had a useful video going through his workflow, albeit a little...

It may physically fit, but the lens is only designed for crop sensor cameras, so only projects a small image circle - it would not fill the frame of the 6d. The nearest lens you’ll get to 17-50 for full frame bodies is something along the lines of 16-35. Canon make 2 as far as I know, the f2.8...

I saw a photo yonks ago of a Canon DSLR I believe, left with the lens pointing into sunlight without a cap. The lens did its job of focusing the light and managed to melt some of the mirror assembly & surrounding body. edit: quick google throws up lots of results for this kind of thing, I think...

Love mine to bits, does everything I need!

I picked up a Vanguard veo 3go 235 around Christmas, haven't really used it in anger just yet but feels great for the price. I paid about £120 if I remember rightly, for the aluminium one. Carbon was about £160.

Used LFH several times over the years, never an issue. Reasonable prices and very flexible service.

I think I've satisfied my itch for a short while... Sigma 35 1.4 DG DN and Sony 85 1.8 added to the bag! Now, weather gods, please play nicely this weekend??

My postie has been busier than usual recently, treated myself to the Sony 85 1.8 last month, and this week he had a Sigma 35 1.4 DG DN. Just need some better weather this weekend to have a play!
