I probably could have been a bit clearer - anyway, I took the plunge and made the purchase. I'd be interested to understand your workflow - do you upload to your laptop/pc, then use he lightroom iPad app once synced? Is there a better way?!

I seem to get a lot of noise in my shots, even at relatively low ISO (400). Particularly on dull overcast days. Are there any tips to minimise noise? I'm using a D3100. Thanks!

Currently looking to upgrade my D3100... A number of people have told me that mirrorless is the future and DSLR is a dated technology. The internet is full of arguments on both sides, so I'm struggling to know what to believe! Any thoughts?
