    Shutter sync on 2 cameras

Hi, I'm looking for some expert help. I'm going to be doing a timelapse of my talented girlfriend, doing a sketch and I want to do 2 angles. I have 1 intervalometer and 2 flash sync receivers/transceivers and 1 shutter sync cable. In my head there is an easy way to sync these cameras up but I...

    Storage

Yeh that's what i'm thinking, been searching the web all day and there was hardly anything, probably will just overload on SD cards. It is a bit weird that they aren't cheaper seeing as though you can get a 1tb harddrive for under £100 but if you want the capacity to put SD Cards in it you...

    Storage

So I'm going to be off travelling in the summer for a couple of weeks and will be taking plenty of photos and videos of the journey, and have the dilemma now that I need to store my files on the move, I don't really want to take my laptop because it is too bulky, and I don't really want to take...

    HELP!!! 60D wind filter problem.

Coming from an audio background, I would always use a dead cat wind filter which you can get for the rode videomic series and just try and shield the wind or record at a different time/place. I wouldn't rely on in-camera audio filters. Wind is the enemy!

    Canon vs Sigma

I need a bit of advise. I am looking to upgrade my glass and purchase a 24-70mm lens. I am a Canon man so I have been looking at the Canon 24-70 EF f/2.8 L which costs around £1000 but since looking I have seen the Sigma version for almost half the price. Is there much of a difference between...

    Lighting a portrait shoot.

Ok sorry yes I should have elaborated a little. I am going to be doing a shoot with an elderley gentleman at his home, so he would be sat in his armchair in his living room. Would I be best using natural light from a window and use a reflector or use 2 sidelights (softboxes) and a backlight...

    HAMA STAR 62 TRIPOD

I have one of these tripods and it really does the trick, it has all the things you need on it i.e. spirit levels, adjustable head and its really sturdy. I would suggest looking at Amzon first though i got mine for just under £15!

    Lighting a portrait shoot.

Hi All, I have recently bought myself a Canon 500D which is my first DSLR camera and treated myself to a 50mm f1.8 lens as I got told this is a decent lens for portraiture. So what I ask is what are some good lighting positions to get interesting portrait shots? Thanks
