They give you SilkyPix. But useful? Yes, in the same way garlic would be for Nosferatu. The people at Panasonic are blaming Adobe for not having the updates ready and then said it was early days for the camera. And that's true, but we are talking about RAW files which are a pretty essential item.

I bought a G3 as an upgrade from a G1 but nothing I have will open the RAW files it produces. Element 8 will not even after an update. iPhoto will not. Review will not. I spoke to Panasonic who say Adobe are working on it. But how the RAW files been reviewed if it hasn't been opened! Help!

It hasn't been mentioned but the notion of '12 months and done' as far as warranty guarantee goes is old thinking. Goods have to last a reasonable length of time and I suspect that is why Nikon are using the term 'Damage' and not expiry of warranty. I am looking for a new camera and given...

Hoppy, I haven't the experience to argue my position on full frame v crop strongly enough. We can settle knowing what I desire though. :)

Scraggs, you're right there is some really good G1 stuff...and there's lots of 5DMK2 stuff and there's a difference though I know it isn't huge. Cheers for the link! :)
