Thanks for those. The OU course has no access to tutors (just feedback from other students) which I think is a little limiting. The ProudPhotography course looks good value for £65. Are there any other online courses with access to a tutor - or is the best option to post photo's on here...

Hi, I just received my new D40 from Amazon. Have had a good play around and am proper happy with the kit and pictures. When compared to the compact I had before it is so so so so.. much better. Decided to buy new in the end for warranty, peace of mind and the fact that there is so little...

So I have bought a small skip in the end 2nd hand. Don't have much kit (at the moment) as have only just bought my first DSLR (yesterday). Needed a bag to go away with at the weekend...:naughty: and shall re-assess when back and had a chance to figure out what I really need/want...
