Oh don't get me wrong — I still like it a lot and am far more comfortable with it than the Fuji but there's no denying things have moved on a bit! Two things it's better at than the X-E1: writing to card speed and autofocus speed.

Just bought an x-e1 so looking forward to contributing. Even though it's been replaced, it's still far better than my previous, a Canon 400d!

I have a 400D and a Sigma 70-300 and that fits in the bottom compartment, so I have no doubt your combo would fit in the top. The inside is made up of positionable dividers so you can lay it out to suit your stuff. Cam.

I got one of these off eBay a couple of weeks ago. It's my first proper camera bag, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I've been very happy with it so far. I like that it is in two compartments. Right now, all my gear (one camera, three lenses) fits into the bottom (smaller)...

Well, the 40mm arrived in plenty of time and I finally got to play with it this weekend (my birthday). Very pleased with it indeed! Thanks for the help in this thread.

Ah, OK. So my 18-55 EF-S kit lens is, in real terms to my 400D, actually acting like a 29-88? Just trying to get a sense of framing. I.e., what I thought was what 55mm looks like is actually what 88mm looks like.

Hi all, I've seen conflicting statements on this around the 'net and wondered if anyone could shed some light? My guess is that, with an EF-S lens, the crop factor plays no part as that lens has been design for a smaller sensor? Have at it!

Yeah, that was one concern I had — thanks for confirming it! Just can't wait for it now. Frustrated again today at how impossible it is to get really good clarity from my 18-55. :(
