To OP..... re file security..... you need to take owner ship of the file or add your user in with full rights..... loads of stuff on the net so i wont go in to how. After that you should be able to access the files but make sure your protected..... T

I'd got with the buy a dead one and get it going..... did this for a casio ( took a couple of gos but at £10 a shot no biggy ) now my lad has a semi decent camera to use when we are out. Best way to find out if you can do it is search for tear down vids on places like youtube etc.... thats...

Hi all, Thinking about buying some square filters..... by the time I've bought round ones for my lens' its probably about the same. Not sure which is the best way to get what I need which is.... Adaptors available so can use filters on a number of lens' ND & ND Grads ( a good range )...

Guys, noticed a spec of dust inside my 55-250..... should I worry / get it replaced ? TBH its not causing a prob as the camera is sorting it but not sure if it a long term prob ( even though its one of those things ) Thanks for your advice in the mean time. Terran
