    Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro

I have the APO version and I think it is a fantastic lens for the money!! I did get some decent shots with it! I have an album of photos taken with it here > http://www.flickr.com/photos/ccsharry/sets/72157603675726936/ It doesn't have IS so you do need to work with the limitations (i.e...

Help! Dust in my Canon 24-105 L

Hello guys, When I check my last batch of photos, I see a big dot on every photo at the same position. So I tried to do the cleaning routine by using the camera automatic cleaning and manual cleaning with a blower but it didn't seem to get rid of it. Then I put on my 50mm f/1.8, the spot's...

Review reflects very well to my opinion on the camera so far. Very glad to get a respectable camera review site to verify that!!

Can't agree more. It's just a different learning path. With a low-end camera with more restrictions, you learn taking best shots with the restraints; with a high-end camera, you have loads of opportunities to take good shots, but you need to restrict your choices sometime to focus on an area to...

Ah... Have you tried using a 5D2 with a tele lens chasing after animals like swans? Try it, if you aim to just focus in one swan and compose you will get what i mean. you can never put it at the rule of thirds position at all LOL Otherwise, 5D2 is absolutely brilliant. It could be a little...

KayJay, I have upgraded from 400D as well and I am definitely loving the move to 5D2 (yet keeping my 400D for wide angle shot as i'm in lack of fund to get a...

5D MkII Focus Screen dropped randomly?!

If the EF-S protrude further inwards to the mirror, there is possibility that the lens base touching the focusing screen release clip to cause the focusing screen falling off... just my 2 cent.

Does a filter degrade the image? You decide!

on 2A and 2B, you see more fringe defects on the 2B if you look at the high contrast edges... um... filter improves quality? interesting!!
