Unfortunately I am not going to be taking a camera worth thousands of pounds on a trip with me especially when I can't fit all I need in my backpack.

Hello everyone. I'm looking for a bridge camera for a round the world trip that I'm about to start. I don't think I'm going to take an SLR because I don't have enough space for lenses in my backpack. My budget is around £150 so I'm wondering what models you would suggest looking at? Many thanks!

If I consider other options, what do you think I could look at? The D3200? D5100?

I have a budget of around £600-£700. That would probably help! Just don't see myself wanting to upgrade in the future as it will purely be a hobby.

Thanks for your reply, I used to have a 450D which was a fantastic camera but am looking for something a little newer with a bit more oomph. :lol: Anyone recommend any macro lenses? I haven't done much macro photography before.

I have a bit of spare time on my hands so I would like to have a go at shooting things like premieres and events. I would like to do portraiture and landscapes aswell. That adds quite a bit of scope on what I would like to do but I hope that it will help.

I've handled the 450D but I'm wondering what camera you think is better and why? They seem very similar but maybe I'm missing something.

The 50mm f1.8 we have at Jessops are all very hard to get on the cameras. Saying that, others have no problem.

I thought that once you read an email on the iPhone, it placed the email at the bottom of the emails you have in your inbox. Therefore displaying the unread emails at the top? I believe mine does that.

I've never had a problem with any body that I've had from Canon. I work for Jessops and we never get complaints about Canon bodies. I've seen more Nikon camera returns for various reasons.
