You want something around the 100mm mark with macro. Or grab some extension tubes which is a good place to start. All depends on your budget though. Have a little gander on YouTube and I'm sure you will get plenty of ideas :)
I'm planning a trip to bushy park in October/November.
From the photos I've seen on here the wildlife seems to come to you!
Anyway.. I was wondering if there's any particular place to go there or if the wildlife is 'all over' the place?
Any info on the place would be great.
Cheers.
Thanks a lot for the help everyone. I'm currently saving for either canons 500mm or sigmas 800mm... Ill get there in about 20years! Lol.
I'm interested to see sigmas new line up!
Hello everyone...
Ive currently got a sigma 300mm f2.8 which I'm loving at the moment. My problem is... It's a bit soft with the sigma 2x converter attached.
I've been told that the newest canon version would be much better! Can anyone give any feedback using this kind of combo? I'm guessing...
Could be a couple of reasons for this. Your shutter seems to be low which is allowing you to do panning shots which adds movement to the photo, that's a good thing, but doesn't fully freeze the subject.
Or you apature is open to wide which means you have a smaller depth of field.
Any chance...
