    Bespoke Canvas Collage

A simple and practical method to attack the problem - thank you both for taking the time to respond and I shall now go away and try to work out why I didn't think of it!

    Bespoke Canvas Collage

Just wondering if anyone is aware of a site where you can arrange a number of photos on a canvas in a bespoke pattern. I can find sites that allow normal prints to be arranged in any way, but the canvas print options seem to be limited to using only one photo or having a number of photos in a...

    Ethical/Moral Question regarding potential clients

I would also turn down the gig if I felt strongly against the cause being promoted. It's a sad day when anybody has to give up their beliefs or principles for cash. However, I am no better than anyone else and my beliefs and principles, or how strongly I objected, would probably be inversely...

    Photograophy Article: Emotive!!!

Ah, but they can! To paint requires a basic understanding of technique, but with today's modern cameras if someone is pointing the camera in the right direction and has a vague idea of what they are trying to achieve, they just might get lucky. And (maybe) therein lies the point. It doesn't...

How to: Make a Fisheye DSLR Lens for $16

Concept searching for a use - basically, find a lens of some sort, mount it in front of the camera in some way and see what happens; see also: magnifying glass, grandad's glasses, bottom of a glass/bottle etc. But.............if it makes interesting pictures??

16 flower girls and 8 bridesmaid!

Pity the poor groom! Don't know if its feasible, (might not be a church wedding) but how about bridesmaids (at the back) and flower girls (at the front) in the choir stalls, all with hymn books, pretending to be the choir for the day? Practically, might be the only place to put them!

    UV Filters

I've read that best UV and CPL filters are from either Hoya or B+W. Seems that some people prefer B+W because they are made from brass rather than aluminium, which means that filters are less prone to get stuck in the lens/each other. Alternatively, others think that Hoya is preferable because...

    Hello and ..... help?

As far as I am aware, shooting Tigers in Africa is probably the safest job in the world. However, shooting them in India - where they live - is a different matter! Thanks for the suggestion - maybe I'll look into a Sigma 33mm AK45!

    Photographing Tigers in the wild

Thanks Tokkelossi - don't care if I do get eaten, as long as I get the picture first! Appreciate your thoughts Amp34 and StewartR - still undecided, but given that I have time before I go, the thought of hiring the lenses to try out in the appropiate forest setting is a good idea. Thanks...

    Photographing Tigers in the wild

It has always been an ambition of mine to photograph a tiger in the wild and early next year, as a reward for living until I'm 50, the present Mrs. C has gifted me a trip to India to visit 3 tiger reserves plus the Taj Mahal. Yep, I'm excited, but a bit nervous - cos I really don't want to mess...
