I have a canon 7D, 100mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.8 lens (2 of the 6 I own). I am looking to shoot better macro....get closer to the insects and take those fabulous pictures of their eyes up close. Do I need different kit or can I do it with what I have?

Doesn't work for me

I see people post pictures (macro) that are so close up and detailed of insects, and I really want to know how they do it. What kit do you need? How do you get that clse without the insect moving away.....??

New to this site, look forward to learning from you all. My biggest passion is macro and portrait photography. I have a Canon 7d and 6 lenses to go with it.
