    Skin smoothing advice/opinion

Hello everyone. I understand that post processing opinions very greatly but with regard to skin smoothing I could do with a little guidance. I have attached a 100% crop from a recent headshot with several increasing amounts of smoothing. The question is, which do you prefer? No Smoothing...

    what shall i do...course or 1-2-1

Have a look for local evening courses in the area. I have attended quite a few. They are cheap, you get plenty of practise and you get to look at / try out other peoples equipment; which helps you choose future purchases.

I'm looking to purchase a new lens for portraits and there are so many out there, I'm not sure what to go for. I'm shooting with a Nikon D7000 and only have one lens, the 35mm 1.8. This is a great...

    Mixing Nikon and Compatible flashes

Hello there. I'm looking for advice on flash compatibility between Nikon flashes and 3rd party, cheaper versions. I'm hoping to set up a main flash (sb700 on D7000) with two additional fill/background flashes. I was looking at the cheaper nissin/metz units but I'm not sure what to go with. I...

    Howdy all.

Hi all. Was introduced to this forum by another user, and can't keep off it now, some really interesting posts. Just upgraded from a Sony a300 to a Nikon D7000 and really enjoying it. Lots to learn, so I better get on with it. Cheers

    ARGGGHHHHHH

I know the feeling, been there too. I have started keeping images in my free webspace which is provided by my ISP. In addition to keeping it safe, you can access your images away from home if need be. The FTP upload is not the quickest though.
