Sorry folks I'm just not with it today!

The batteries they use have a purpose similar to those in your car (starting etc) the aircraft still uses Gas Turbines burning aviation fuel for propulsion.

I have found the 150-500 advertised at £613 on Panamoz.com. When I googled them it came up with a rather scathing review from another forum along with numerous glowing reviews from other customers. Has anyone here had any experience dealing with them? Here's the link from their site to the lens...

Cheers Harry, some cracking shots there too! I'm leaning towards the 150-500 at the moment mainly for price and the optical stabilisation.

Hello folks, I'm after some advice on which 500mm lens you would recommend. I'm currently torn between the sigma 50-500 and 150-500 os model. I'll be using it mainly for aviation photography on my Nikon D90. I'm keen to know about speed, image quality etc. cheers in advance, Calum

Hello everyone! I'm Calum, still quite new to photography but loving every minute especially after splashing out on a D90 last Autumn. When I'm not taking photos I'm studying Aircraft Engineering so have a keen interest in aviation photography but will try my hand at most things! :)
