FF not FX!

Ok, thanks for commenting. Are the FX lenses the new thing? Or can I get an upgrade body that will work with my DX lenses? It looks like I haven't looked in to this thoroughly enough. More to think about.

Oh! I have camera insurance, I'm a live-in nanny and wasn't sure it would be covered on their home insurance. I will see what the camera shop has to say tomorrow (if I can find one locally, that might be a whole other thread) and then ring the insurance, thanks for reminding me!

Oh! I should have said, I managed to unscrew the filter! I have taken a few pictures with it since and they seem sharp but sometimes it won't focus, sometimes it is fine and sometimes it focus's eventually!

Guernsey is appealing against the ruling and hopefully they will be successful as it would mean that a lot of people will lose their jobs. I have lots of friends in Guernsey and so I visit often and I buy all my vat free items when I am there.
