    Generally the Canon menue systems remain the same from model to model, just changes when features from one to the next is added or ommited..... With the RF range the menue systems have the same look and feel.... However on the RF menus your jump to video is not just a menue selection.... EG...

I have not had an issue with either , but from time to time I do upgrade .... I did not sell the 5D's as they are in essence worthless because of the new RF range...
