    It worked. I was opening wide the lens aperture ring. When I put to f/22, it worked. Thank you

    Thank you for your reply, I did it fixed to 2.8 before locking to the body.

    Guys, I bought a Sigma 24-60mm f/2.8 from Amazon. When I fix it to my Nikon D300, focus is working. But LCD showing some "error" and not able to change aperture or shutter speed or not able to take any picture. Is this lens compatible with D300? Please advice
