Top man, this worked a treat. Using this and and renaming my .chk files I managed to recover about 80% of my files

Been running lots of programs and have recovered a fair bit. I also have found 80gig of .CHK files which I am renaming! to .JPG and its seems to bring them back

Its seems after all the advice etc. I have bad sectors which, I can see the files so trying to recover them at the moment.

I am worried what I am doing is wrong, all I ever do is drag my photos into Loxley or Photobox and then just select the size I want and shrink to fit. Is this the wrong approach?

I am not sure if this is right but can you not just get a 8x10 printed and get the printer to fit all image rather than crop to fit?
