Been offered an old Nikkor 600mm lens not cheap cheap but compared to digital lenses it's cheap. I have a D80 and wondered about problems I might have, will it fit? I know it'll be manual focus but what other issue's. Thanks in advance. Brian

You got it:thumbs: It's only a thin strap fitted to the bottom of the lens, I wear it round my neck so if I slip or fall I've got my hands free and hopefully where I try and keep my head up the camera won't hit the floor:eek: I was hoping I could buy some sort of pad that velcro'd round...

Just checked that out Mark and it attaches to the tripod fixing point, I have my monopod attached to the lens mount and if I fit this type of strap to my camera I doubt my D80 could handle the weight of the lens. Thanks for the suggestion though and the helps appreciated:) Brian
