    Hi Derek, thanks for the help, but I misjudged the file sizes they are all starting out above 30m not 10, following your advise I would end up with files 700KB or over still. Very nice web site and photo's congratulations

    down sizing

    my files are above 10mb, I am told i need files of 150 to 250 KB and approx 4*5 inches in size, 1mb is just way to big, I can get down to 1MB without too much trouble saved as a mediun JPeg file but any further and the photo's turn to rubbish, any ideas? Thanks so much for your responses

    down sizing

    I have some huge files that I need to downsize for PDF printed output they would be about 160 * 200mm maximum size, they are photoshop format, I have tried changing to J peg at correct size, and even getting close the quality is terrible angled edges end up as a row of steps any helpfull ideas...

    Try printmyimage at Nottigham, the guys their are being really helpful to me and they print directly onto most metals they also batten the back so it is ready to hand, brilliant and helpful

    CIS for HP8850

    tried both methods, and with all other programs closed. They end up in the correct file but do not show up when I try to use them when printing. Also tried Google no joy

    I am not sure potentialy contaminating the inside of a camera with highly conductive graphite is a good solution, you are risking electrical shorting as well as sensor contamination

    I am about to purchase a new printer A4 or A3, was interested in Epson R800 but hear worrying stories about blocked printers, so what do people recommend ? Hp A3 size sound interesting with inbuilt calibration, must be VISTA compatable. Not interested in faxing or scanner all in ones Thanks
