Is this not where a grey card comes in handy? Im sure iv read about it in a book but cant remember the details.

What revision is it btw? The A00 i guess it is had lots of tinting issues but the newer A01 and A02 screens seem to have cleared up alot. Mines a A01 if that helps. Maybe your buying from a company with old stock?

Lol just read this thread kool. Didn't know you were into photography. I know you may have the odd bad reply there's lots of people trying to help. It seems one of the biggest pieces of advice is to practice with your current kit first.

Although im happy with the Sigma I think in the long run the Canon will offer me more. I find the Sigma alittle soft between 200-300mm. Thanks for all the help :)

Well I already have the Sigma. I would sell that and try find a 2nd hand canon.

From a 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro. to A Canon EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS? I only have a 18-55 IS kit lens otherwise and I find the gap to 70mm kinda big sometimes. It sounds like a no brainer with IS in the equation also. Thanks Brad.
