    Canon 70-200mm L HELP!!

I find the non-IS Canon very heavy, and quite tricky to use handheld. I would go with the IS if at all possible.

    Which Canon 70-200?

Thanks for the replies guys. I went with the 2.8 in the end. Looking forward to getting out in the snow this afternoon with it.

    Which Canon 70-200?

I'm mainly interested in shooting wildlife and landscapes with it, with a little bit of sports. I'm guessing the main advantage of the 2.8 is nicer bokeh?

    Which Canon 70-200?

Hey guys. I can get an f4 IS or an f2.8 non-IS for the same price and not sure which to go for. Any advice?

    Canon D40 0r D500

I can't comment on the 40, but I have a 500d and find it great. Video is a great feature to have, and has come in handy a few times. As I say though, it was my first Digital SLR so I don't really have anything to compare it to.

    Canon 180mm f3.5L Macro Lens

Cheers guys. I've read about the AF issue, but I manually focus my 60mm about 90% of the time, so not too worried about that. So I guess the big question is, what would be a good price for a used one in great condition with lens hood and lens case? Been offered one for £620 which seems very good.

    Canon 180mm f3.5L Macro Lens

Any thoughts on this? I've been offered one at a fantastic price, and thinking of going for it. My current macro lens is a 60mm, which doesn't let me get good insect shots as I have to get so close and end up scaring them off. Anyone had one of these, and how did you find it for insect photography?

    Hello chaps!

Just signed up today having lurked for a while. I've just gotten back into photography recently, have bought a DSLR recently (Canon 500d). I'm particularly interested in abstract pictures, macro and light painting. Looking forward to getting involved on here. Here's one I took yesterday:
