I have found this as well. I emailed some pictures to my parents and I noticed that it said the images were the same size my 'RAW' was but a Jpeg. I can only assume when you start to edit the RAW in iphoto it immediately processes it into Jpeg format. Someone correct me if im wrong?

I recently bought a nifty and unless I cant squeeze myself any further up against the wall I use it for all my shots. I only break out the kit lens I have when I need to go wider. My 52 week 1 pic is probably my favourite shot with it but might not be my best.

I personally like the darkness off of the road. I also really like how you can just see the edges of the road from the headlights of the cars. This is a really unique shot and I dont think Ive ever seen anything like it.
