MALLORY PARK
Mallory Park, the popular Leicestershire motor racing circuit, has new operators.

On the HBBC website there is an interesting not from the Chief Exec Officer

especially the last paragraph
"These discussions and negotiations with the landowner (primarily) and with the council, which I hope...
To clarify.
You don't need a permit in most areas of the park only the part to the eat of the stream which is signposted off-limits to the general public. The permits allow you to go into this restricted area.
Yes but in this case a 1985 ruling set the number of Noisy days at 92, because the council didn't police it the noisy days crept up to 165. I do not like nimbyism but the locals ( 2/3 of those who replied to the council) used this ruling as a lever to win the case.
Has anyone bought one of the Deer Photography Permits during previous Deer Ruts at Bradgate Park. They give access to all of the area over the stream.

Looks Like no access to the "inside" of the track. Therefore the spot between Stowe & Vale where you can easily get pictures over the fence with most lenses is out of bounds !
What a great program, JK showed what its like to visit Alaska without the advantages normally afforded to a film crew.
I went to Alaska in September 2010 and this program captured the experience better than most. I did have to cringe slightly at some of JK's comments but that is part of his...
Mallory Park circuit, arguably the most Tog friendly circuit in the UK, has its future under threat following the local councils' decision to take the owners to court.
Anyone wishing to read more detail on the reasons behind this can find more information via the Autosort site on the...

I drive past here regularly, last time i tried to photograph the kites was a couple of years ago.
200 seems to be quite a high number, there are certainly not as many as at places like Watlington etc.
During nesting season they often shut part of the woods off to protect the birds. I,ve...
