    Copyright and digital images.

I started in film photography, and if you had the negative and copyrighted © with your name, everything appeared to be ok. Unsure with digital images how they are © protected. As there is no proof I took the image i.e. no negative. What is the best way of copyrighting photo's, without going...

What do want another one of those for you starting a collection

Just one of those things you do on the spur of the moment, so I came across a 16MP camera I wanted years ago, so I decided to give a go and bought it. (yes someone said........what do want another one of those for you starting a collection. No guesses to who said that). So whilst she was...

    How does agitation effect development?

As StephenM say's Temperature - I always set my temp 68 degree F or 20degree C temperature is very important Agitation - allows the chemicals to have an even contact with the film (no air bubbles) Time - always use manufactures instructions on time scales Get these main elements right and...

Looking for used camera where they have a B (bulb) setting for exposures longer than 30 seconds. I have been using an old Fuji S9500 9mp but has a B setting that is restricted. Not too bothered about Mega pixels so not looking for the latest camera, forgot to mention I normally shoot in manual...

    Is anything distracting?

Agree with all comments, a good crop bottom (showing half of pipe) left just after fitting and maybe a little from the top.

    Albumen printing

Hi Wayne No haven't tried printing in that manner, however if you have an interest Victorian photography you used to be able to pick up glass plate slides/negatives at antique fairs quite easy.

Beginner First try with B&W and old Zenit 122

400 ASA HP5 is quite grainy film (it allows you take exposure readings in darker conditions) you wouldn't want to increase the grain in prints, but if you did you could use the developer at a higher temperature than 20 degree C, an outdate developer, which you had no control of using snappy...

I'd agree with all of the above, I would also look at the ISO/ASA of the film the higher the value the grainer the negative will be, also with the 2nd shoot if this is an enlargement of a part of the negative it will show up more grain in the final print.
