    "Panasonic G series" Owners Thread

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if there's an adaptor for the hot shoe on the G80 which will allow me to use a Nikon ring flash on it? Not too bothered about auto, manual will do, but I don't want to fry my camera. Lol. Cheers

    Downsizing kit for wildlife suggestions

That was my thinking when I originally bought the D800, allow me to crop massively because I couldn't afford 600mm F4 lenses.

    Downsizing kit for wildlife suggestions

OK, so I've been out and about checking some different cameras. I appreciate the comments about the quality of the bridge cameras. All of them that I tested and took some pictures with were way down on what I expected the quality to be. I was impressed with the images taken with the G80 and...

    Downsizing kit for wildlife suggestions

As per the title, I don't get the opportunity to get out as much to photography now due to work commitments so most of the photography I'll be doing is going to be abroad on holidays (Kenya, Canada, South America etc) Most of these places have weight limits on internal flights so I'm looking to...

    Which bridge camera?

Hi guys, I was just wondering which smaller cameras you use for wildlife? I currently use a Nikon D800, Sigma 120-300mm 2.8 with teleconverters and then rely on cropping to get my wildlife images. Soon I'm going to be travelling and the internal flights have strict weight allowances, obviously...

    Wildlife Holiday

Hi Guys, I'm after a bit of advice about a couple of holiday destinations for wildlife. I've got 2-3 weeks off end of July, beginning of August next year the the wife and I are thinking of either Canada or Costa Rica. Has anyone been to either destination? Recommend any places to stay or agents...

    Backup lens for wildlife

The reason I was looking at a bridge camera was so I had a backup camera AND lens rather than just a backup lens. The kit is to be taken to Africa, Canada, South America and Asia over the coming years so weight is an issue.

    Backup lens for wildlife

That was my worry for the P900. I know someone who has one and he's told me that it's good for record shots. He was going to loan me the camera so I can see for myself before I bought one. Budget is an issue. I currently use a Nikon D800 with Sigma 120-300 2.8 plus a 1.4 TC. I find this gives...

    Backup lens for wildlife

OK I'm looking for a bit of info about what kind of backup you guys use for a wildlife lens? Story is this. I've just came back from a tiger safari in India. On the first of fourteen safaris, my Sigma 120-300 lens packed in. The internal focusing element became detached rendering the lens...

    Sigma lens repair

It's the OS version i've got. I've filled out the form on the website and it says they will email it to me. Any idea how long that will take? I would've thought it would be instantly.
