Thanks for the help! Found that the Yongnuo YN560EX can be triggered by the 600D and others if others were also looking.

Hi, I am looking to buy a Yongnuo flash but I want one that my Canon 600D can trigger without the use of a separate hotshoe flash trigger, it also has to work on the hot shoe like normal too :) I have looked at their range but it is slightly confusing! Also the 565EX is out of the price I want...

I thought the same thing when I first bought the phone but after a few days I got used to the size and I cant see myself going back to a screen as small as the iPhones! I would however consider the S3 screen size.
