Nice review! I have that tripod with a bal head and it is very good for the price. I do see a lot of people complain that its too heavy for going out hiking with but I think its fine, never even notice it once its strapped to the rucksack.

I am looking into getting some ND grads but I was wondering what the numbers relate to. Such as 0.3, 0.6 etc etc. Do these relate to the amount of filtering, such as a third or two-thirds of a stop etc? I am trying to work out what ones to get for landscape photography. Thanks for any info:)

Pretty much any scene from the epic Koyaanisqatsi. Especially the demolition scenes in the desert oilfields.

I am gradually trying out lots of different things. I think you are right, an overhead flash would be useful but I have only got two at the moment. I think I will ditch the light tent and try a better set up.

No worries mate. Its good stuff. It has a texture like silk so I found it a bit of a sod to tape down as it was sliding all over but it was worth the trouble I think. For that price its worth getting a few metres so you can try out using several layers. I have seen ripstop being ised a lot by...
